Local Government Chairmen In Ibarapaland Extend Heartfelt Eid ul-Adha Wishes to Muslims

In a show of solidarity and goodwill, local government chairmen across Ibarapaland have extended warm congratulations to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid ul-Adha.

This auspicious festival, celebrated with great reverence and joy, marks the culmination of Hajj pilgrimage rituals and commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and sacrifice.

The chairmen, Hon. Adebare Akorede, Executive Chairman, Ibarapa North; Hon. Kazeem Arogundade, Executive Chairman of Ibarapa East and Hon. Olusola Adeleke, Executive Chairman, Ibarapa Central conveyed their heartfelt wishes for peace, prosperity, and spiritual fulfillment to all Muslims in the zone.

Recognizing the significance of Eid ul-Adha in promoting unity and compassion, they underscored the importance of shared values that strengthen the fabric of society.

In a statement. Hon. Akorede, Executive Chairman, Ibarapa North expressed his sincere felicitations, stating, “On behalf of the local government, I extend warm Eid ul-Adha greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Ibarapaland.

“May this occasion inspire us to uphold the principles of sacrifice, generosity, and solidarity within our communities.”

Hon. Arogundade, Executive Chairman of Ibarapa East on his part highlighted the community’s resilience and unity, especially amidst the ongoing challenges posed by various socio-economic factors and the global pandemic.

To Hon. Adeleke, Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central, he praised the spirit of charity and goodwill displayed by Muslims during Eid ul-Adha, as families share sacrificial meat with neighbors and those less fortunate.

As the sun set on another Eid ul-Adha celebration in Ibarapaland, the chairmen reiterated their commitment to supporting initiatives that promote communal harmony and development.
