In what appears to be a reconciliation parley, the southwest leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan who has been in rift with the incumbent governor Seyi Makinde since the 2019 general election victory for PDP, has on Wednesday met the reelected governor in a meeting.
Details of the meeting is yet unknown but there are indications that the long fight between the two political bigwigs might have been settled.
Newsarena.ng will bring you details of the meeting in subsequent publication.
Alhaji olopoeyan, a former Chieftain of the PDP in Oyo state had left the party with some other aggrieved political gladiators accusing governor Makinde of sidelining political leaders and followers.
Olopoeyan later adopted NNPP and brought the party to Oyo state, fielding a governorship candidate, Popoola Olukayode Joshua, POJ to tackle Seyi Makinde, just few months to the elections
