JUST IN: Kidnapped Daughter of Ibadan Cleric Released, Reunites With Family 

Mrs Ibukunoluwa Otesile, daughter of Reverend Lekan Babatunde and deputy coordinator, Child Protection Network, CPN, Oyo state chapter who was kidnapped at outside her father’s residence at General gas, Ibadan on Thursday has been released.


Otesile is also the newly inaugurated President, Junior Chamber International, JCI, Ibadan Elite.

Security sources in the state confirmed the developments to Fresh FM on Wednesday night.

Also confirming the development, the state coordinator, Child Protection Network, Dr Rosemary Osogbo said Mrs Otesile has been reunited with her family.

In another post on the Civil Society Organization WhatsApp platform, newsarena.ng reports that members of the CSO in the state have begun to express appreciation to God for safe return of Mrs Otesile.

Dr Bukola Olatunji wrote “All ADORATION & THANKS to GOD ALMIGHTY. IBUKUN OTESILE released and back home.

Another CSO executive director, Mrs Ogbedengbe in a forward message wrote “The entire family of Rev(Dr) Lekan Babatunde and Prof Otesile would like to express our profound gratitude for the show of love and prayers during this trying period
