President Bola Tinubu has vowed to do all it takes to preserve and sustain democracy in Nigeria.
The President made the vow in his National broadcast on the commemoration of Democracy day in the country.
President Tinubu maintained that democracy remained the best form of government and his administration would continue to protect the rights, freedom and liberty of Nigerians.
The President said, though the challenges were enormous, he was committed to making desired reforms in all sectors and cement democracy in Nigeria.
President Tinubu also urged Nigerians not to fall for talks by some undemocratic elements, who may want to discourage them from supporting the sustenance of a democratic system of government in the country.
President Tinubu, who described himself as a beneficiary of the struggle to return to a democratic system of government, said the labours of the heroes of democracy in Nigeria would never be forgotten.
