INTERPOL Summons Ibadan Based Broadcaster

The International Criminal Police Organization, INTERPOL, has summoned an Ibadan-based broadcaster, Peter Olasupo to appear in its office over alleged criminal defamation and cyber-stalking.


Peter is expected to appear at the INTERPOL’s office on 13th January, 2025.

The broadcaster confirmed the invitation via a statement he posted on his Facebook page.

Peter said that he received a letter report to INTERPOL headquarters at force headquarters, Shehu Shagari Way, Garki, Abuja, on Monday, 30th December, 2024, at 11:00 am in furtherance of the investigation.

He added that upon receiving the letter through his boss, the boss immediately contacted a lawyer who responded on his behalf.

He “At the moment, I don’t have full details of the matter, but I will present myself at their office and fully cooperate with INTERPOL’s investigation into the alleged case. However, I am curious.

When asked for the confirmation, Olasupo confirmed the authenticity of the statement to DAILY POST
