Sen. Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has pledged that if elected in 2023, he will provide youths with opportunity to realize their potential.
This was said by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Tuesday in Jos at the launch of the APC presidential campaign.
The presidential candidate said that although he was aware of the difficulties facing young people, he would make them a thing of the past if elected.
“To the youth, we make a promise that today may be difficult but we will not let you down because you are our children and brothers.”
“I am not a happy man, untill I free you from the bondage of neglect and give you the skills, because I know you can do it,” he said.
President Buhari built a strong basis for the development of agriculture and other sectors, according to the APC presidential candidate, who promised to build on the president’s accomplishments.
“We were insecure, we turned to retired Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and he embarked on rehabilitation, recovery and redemption of Nigeria.
“He started by destroying the terrorists’ flags systematically, tactically and frontally and today there are no flags of strange military colours in any of our local governments in Nigeria.
He also added that Buhari superintended over a most fair and credible primary election that produced him as the flag bearer.
Tinubu, who reaffirmed his commitment to good governance, stated that APC would not allow looters to take over the affairs of the country.
