Professor Ayobami Salami, the Pioneer vice Chancellor of Nigeria’s Premier Technical University, First Technical University, Ibadan, Oyo State has assumed office as the New INEC resident electoral Commissioner in Ekiti state.
Professor Salami took over from Dr Adeniran Tella who had been redeployed to Oyo state to conduct the 2023 general election in the state.
After a brief hand over ceremony, Professor Salami was taken round the INEC office in Ado Ekiti by the Administrative Secretary, Mrs Feyi Saseyi.
Recall that INEC Chairman, Professor Mamhood Yakubu had recently deployed new Resident Electoral Commissioner to Ekiti State and some states of the federation.
