Igboho Indigenes Commend Makinde’s Deputy For Dumping PDP.

Challenged Makinde To Provide Evidence Of Any Project Done In The Area

Some Indigenes and residents of Igboho community, Oorelope local government area of Oyo state have challenged Governor Seyi Makinde led PDP administration to mention any project it has executed in the area in the last three years.

They also said the areas are waiting for the first project to be started or completed by the government in the remaining few months of the outgoing administration.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan, they showered commended the state Deputy Governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, for what they described as his tenacity, political sagacity, uprightness and courage.

They also hailed the Deputy Governor for the decision to dump the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress, (APC) saying the action is in response to their demand and pressure on him to make the political move.

They added that with the decision, he has yielded to their request of providing them with a credible alternative where politics is done with human face devoid of executive rascality and institutionalized autocracy.

The leaders said the move is pleasing and a welcome development to them, noting that the move will put an end to what they described as “directionless movement that started in May 2019.”

Some of the leaders who signed the statement include: Mr. Elemoso Asimiyu, Mr.Oluwafemi Jamiu Tunji, Hon. Mrs. Ramota Sekoni, Alh. Ismaila Oladosu, Mrs. Aminat Rasidi and Hon Fasasi Adeniyi.

Others are: Mr. Olanrewaju, R. A, Alh. Mudathir Somope, Alh Ashiru A. Alimi, Mr. Mudathir Kamilu, Mrs. Olagboyero Medinat, Mr. Ayawo Abdulrazaq and Mrs. Shittu Simbiat Elemoso.
