The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has presented a brand new motorcycle to the Community Development Council (CDC) in Ido Local Government Area to enhance community engagement and grassroots development.
Presenting the motorcycle at the Local Government Secretariat on Thursday 17th September,2026, Hon. Adeojo said the gesture is part of his administration’s commitment to strengthening community structures and ensuring effective communication between the council and the people at the grassroots.

According to him, the CDC plays a vital role in community development, conflict resolution, and dissemination of government policies, hence the need to support them with the necessary logistics to function effectively.

“The CDC is the bridge between government and the people. This motorcycle will ease their movement across the 10 wards of Ido Local Government and help in mobilizing our people for development programmes,” the Chairman stated.
Receiving the motorcycle on behalf of the Council, the CDC Chairman, Engr. Tunde salaudeen, expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Chairman for his continuous support for community development associations.
He described Hon. Adeojo as a listening and responsive leader who has always prioritized the welfare of the people, assuring that the motorcycle will be judiciously used for the purpose it was meant for.
He further pledged the total support and cooperation of all Community Development Associations (CDAs) in Ido Local Government for the present administration.
Further, the council helmsman, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo,also through Alhaji kamorudeen Gbadamosi, the secretary to the LG, boosted the morale of omi-apata market traders and user by providing ten(10) number of solar lights for the market use.
Also present at the presentation were the secretary to the LG Alhaji kamorudeen Gbadamosi, the chief of staff, deputy leader, the Head of Local Government Administration Alhaji Aminu sarafadeen, Directors, CDC members and other political functionaries.
