Ibadan heads of family compound, the Mogajis, have frowned at the interview granted by the former Deputy Governor of Oyo state Amb. Taofeek Arapaja.
The compound heads who were in their hundreds at an emergency meeting at Oja Oba Palace of Olubadan issued a communique at the end of the meeting and signed by Mogaji Mukthar Adewale Gbadeyanka, Mogaji Adeipo, Mogaji Patrick Kayode Ogunsola and Mogaji Anisere
The communique stated that Ambassordor Arapaja does not have what it takes to insult Ibadan Mogajis talk more of the OTUN OLUBADAN OF IBADANLAND.
According to the communique “He was trained with Oyo state money in the United Kingdom and has not done anything to reciprocate the good gesture Chief Bola Ige gave him.”
The Ibadan Mogajis believed that “Arapaja wants to step up his politics and believe he can drag the name of Otun Olubadan, Rashidi Ladoja in the mud ,simply because he wants to use Otun Olubadan’s name to achieve his heart desires from Gov Seyi Makinde”
“He should be prepared to go into war with the Ibadan Mogajis, Ibadan Chiefs and the entire Ibadan Indigenes. A word is enough for the Wise.”
