Ibadan Based Broadcaster Dies As Oyo NUJ Mourns, Commiserates With Lagelu FM

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, extends its heartfelt condolences to the entire management and staff of Lagelu 96.7FM, as well as the family of the late Kola Oladapo, fondly known as Mr 9ice Guy, on his painful passing.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, comrade Akeem Abas and Secretary, Temidayo Adu, the NUJ said it received the news of his death with deep shock and profound sadness.

Oladapo was a passionate broadcaster, committed media professional and vibrant on-air personality whose voice, creativity, and warmth endeared him to listeners and colleagues alike.

His contributions to Lagelu 96.7FM and the broadcasting profession will remain indelible.

The NUJ said it recognised the huge vacuum Oladapo’s departure has created within the Lagelu FM family and the wider media community in Oyo State.
