One person has been confirmed dead while another person is seriously injured in fatal accident involving a Toyota Hiace and Tipper around Elewi Odo, Ojoo Expressway, Ibadan, Oyo state capital.
The accident happened around half past nine O’Clock on Wednesday 28th August, 2024 just before the NNPC filling station in the area.
According to reports, the accident involved a Toyota Hiace with Reg Nos: FMT510XG loaded with perishable goods and a Tipper.
According to an eye witness, it was said that the accident was as a result of reckless driving by the tipper driver
It was also gathered that, the driver of the Toyota Hiace died on the spot with the corpse deposited at Toun Hospital mortuary, while injured person was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical care.
Recall that similar accident in Ibadan about two weeks ago where more that ten people lost their lives
