Harness Waste Recycling Practice – Oyo Govt. To Residents

The Oyo State Government has asked citizens to adopt the practice of sorting and recycling their waste.

The State Government stated this on Monday through its waste management advisor as part of measures to lessen stress on landfills in the State.

“Residents in Ibadan were urged to work with the Oyo State Government as it combats the problem of trash management” Mr. Adey Adewuyi, the MD of Mottainai Recycling Ltd.

Mr Adewuyi reiterated his firm’s total commitment to the furtherance of the Executive Governor’s order on zero tolerance for reckless waste disposal.

Additionally, he asked the Federal and State Governments to promote recycling businesses using cutting-edge technology to tackle garbage that contributes to flooding and other environmental problems.

All hands must be on deck to save lives against the menace of air and water pollution brought on by human activity, according to Adey Adewuyi, who added that the amount of garbage in the nation was startlingly increasing.
