Gov. Makinde Declares 3 Days Mourning Over Akeredolu’s Death
Governor of Oyo State and vice chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Seyi Makinde, has proclaimed three days of state mourning in honor of the late governor of Ondo State and chairman of the South-West Governors’ Forum, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
In the same manner, the governor on Thursday also ordered that all state-owned flags to be flown at half mast for a period of three days.
Governor Makinde had, on Wednesday evening, alongside the chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman, visited the Ibadan home of the late Ondo State governor.
