The Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District and frontline gubernatorial aspirant of Oyo All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Sarafadeen Abiodun Ali has been screened and cleared to contest the 2027 gubernatorial election.
Senator Ali appeared before the National screening Committee on Saturday in Abuja.
Contrary to insinuations by disgruntled politicians masquerading as Concerned Youths, Senator Sarafadeen Alli was given a clean bill to contest the gubernatorial election.
You will recall that Leaders and critical Stakeholders within Oyo APC had accepted president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s endorsement of Sarafadeen Alli as the adopted gubernatorial candidate for Oyo APC, about a couple of weeks ago at a program held at Samonda, Ibadan.
Party Leaders, members, friends and well wishers have been congratulating the Oyo South Senatorial District Senator on the successful screening exercise.
With this development, the coast became clearer for Senator Sarafadeen Ali to become the Governor of Oyo state in 2027.
