The Christ Followers Evangelical Ministry, Goshen land – New Glory has dedicated a multi-million naira cathedral amidst praises, Thanksgiving and jubilation to God
The over one thousand seater auditorium, situated at Ilugusi Estate, Odò-Ọnà Eléwé hosted members of the Church, Clergymen , Music Ministers including Evangelist Bola Are and Elijah Akíntúndé and Guests to witness the 13th Annual Conference , Anniversary, Dedication and Ordination service in the new auditorium.
Chairman on the Occasion, who is the immediate past Deputy Director News and Current Affairs, FRCN Ibadan, Asiwaju S.T Abiodun explained that he witnessed the foundation laying of the cathedral because the site was opposite his house also noted that the church had been a blessing to the community
Asiwaju S.T Abiodun also announced the sponsorship of Jamb forms for two indigent students in the church on behalf of his family.
In a sermon, Prophet Olabode Samiye bemoaned the spate at which fake Preachers who in the bid of living in affluence swindled innocent church members off their meager resources.
Prophet Samiye, who is the General Overseer of Angel of Christ Gospel Church, Ibadan, urged Christians to seek the in-filling of the holy spirit for discernment, guidance and quick identification of fake prophets or prophecy.
Founder of the church, Prophetess Esther Adebayo Adonai, JP, who recounted the developmental stages of the church attributed the numerical growth of the congregation to the grace of God.
“We started here with six members, in 2009, a makeshift shelter was constructed as a temporal place of worship, we persevered in faith and today, God gave us a magnificent Auditorium which we now call Glory Dome”
Prophetess Adebayo Adonai, JP, urged Nigerian leaders and the citizens to keep faith in God and fear him in all their dealings to attain a greater nation.
Highlights of the event was the ordination of some members into different cadres of ministries among them was the Wife of Asiwaju S.T Abiodun, Mrs. Dupe Adejoke Abiodun who was ordained as a Lady Evangelist.
