Senator Teslim Folarin, an All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governor of Oyo State, has urged the Yoruba race to band together and work toward Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s victory in the general elections of next year.
At a party Zonal rally held in Ibadan’s Alakia, Egbeda Local Government area, Senator Folarin made the announcement.
Senator Folarin stated that Asiwaju Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, was the most experienced of all the candidates, adding that Nigeria would experience significant growth if Tinubu wins the election.
The Oyo APC governorship candidate insisted that in order to support one of its sons, the Yoruba race must put aside all disagreements.
In order to achieve overall excellent administration, Senator Folarin also asked the populace to make sure they voted for all of the party’s candidates.
Dr. David Okunlola, the APC’s deputy governorship candidate in the state, boasted that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will receive 98% of the votes cast in Oyo APC.
Similar to this, Mr. Isaac Omodewu, the state chairman of the APC, expressed confidence that Senator Teslim Folarin will be elected governor of Oyo state in 2023.
