A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo state, Dr Fola Akinosun has congratulated christians on the occassion of this year’s Easter celebration marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Dr Akinosun in a statement personally signed in Ibadan said the death and resurrection of Christ was a renewed hope that there can still be unprecedented achievements and development in Nigeria despite daunting challenges.
The educationist and grassroots politician urged Nigerians to use the occassion of the day to seek God’s intervention and blessings upon Nigeria and Oyo state in particular, for Nigerians to enjoy divine provisions.
He said christians must at all times imbibe the sacrifices, such as selflessness, giving and love exhibited by Jesus Christ who laid his life for the salvation and benefit of man.
