FarmKonnect Responds To Allegations Following News Report

In a contrary and impassioned reaction to a recent publication, the founder of FarmKonnect, Azeez Oluwole, has condemned the move, describing it as an attempt to tarnish his years of hard labor, sacrifice, and dreams.

This was contained in a public statement by Oluwole on Thursday, May 29, titled “We Failed, But We’re Not Criminals.”

The article in question, centered on the experience of an investor named Mariam, painted a picture of a collapsed agritech investment scheme with hints of financial impropriety.

In his reaction, Oluwole did not deny the disruption of operations but firmly rejected the implication of fraud.

In his words, Oluwole said, “Let’s set the record straight. Yes! We failed, but no! We did not scam anyone.”

According to Oluwole, FarmKonnect’s temporal disruption was not the result of mismanagement or deceit but a convergence of external crises.

He cites what he described as “Force Majeure” events such as unpredictable situations including COVID 19, economic instability, and logistical setbacks that halted the company’s ambitious projects. He further states that the new dawn is come

He added that most of the physical assets for the project remain untouched and verifiable at Wave City, Wasimi, a point he argued was deliberately omitted in publication.

In defense of transparency, Oluwole pointed to several investor meetings conducted via a dedicated platform, www.azeezoluwole.com, which he said was created to maintain open dialogue with stakeholders.

He also referenced an April 2025 investor circular titled “A New Dawn Has Come!” which hinted the company’s imminent rebound. Why was that not mentioned?” he queried, questioning the editorial decisions behind the report Oluwole claims that this is not his first encounter with what he described as “sabotage”.

He recalled a 2022 newspaper report that he alleged, scuttled a major rebound contract. “This new post follows the same pattern, attack immediately after signs of recovery,”

Oluwole hereby reassures all that the long wait is finally ending, as very soon he’ll be back in business.
