The embattled Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party , PDP in Ondo State, Mr Fatai Adams is dead.
He was reported dead in the early hours of Wednesday .
Adams, a former member of the State House of Assembly was suspended as a state party chairman by the State Executive Committee of the party in January.
His Vice Mr Tola Alabere was then appointed as the acting chairman of the party.
The late Adams has been buried in his home home town of Irun in Akoko Northwest local government area of the State according to Islamic injunction.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP , Ondo State has expressed shock over the death of its suspended chairman, Mr Fatai Adams.
Mr Adams reportedly died Wednesday morning at a private hospital in Akure during a brief illness.
The party in a statement from its publicity secretary , Mr Kennedy Peretei says the demise of Mr Adams at this period is not only sad but traumatic for the party.
It says the State Working Committee SWC of the party has declared a three- day mourning period while Party flags are to fly at half mast and all party Secretariats shut for the period across the state.
Mr Adams also served as Deputy State Chairman at the state level before his election as State Chairman in August 2020.
