Engr. Dotun Sanusi Enrols Over 300 Beneficiaries Into State Health Insurance Scheme, OYSHIA

In a bid to ensure the physical fitness and well-being of members of his community, the Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotel & Sports Resorts and ICAST, Chief Engr. Dotun Sanusi has provided free medical treatment to over 300 beneficiaries through the Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA).

During the enrollment flag-off, Dotun Sanusi, who is the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland emphasized the importance of prioritizing healthcare of residents, citing examples of countries with well-subsidized healthcare systems like the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Arab.

He encouraged others to emulate his gesture, stressing that healthcare is a fundamental aspect of life.

Dotun Sanusi said ensuring the health and well-being of those around him including family members, workers, and the community at large is essential. He acknowledged that healthcare is a critical factor in life and expressed his desire to ensure that people have access to quality healthcare without waiting until they are critically ill.

Speaking, the OYSHIA representative, Mr. Omofisoye Wale Joseph, appreciated Dotun Sanusi’s support and explained that enrollment is part of the Adoption Model, which aims to provide access to healthcare for beneficiaries through the OYSHIA platform.

Beneficiaries have been enrolled in different facilities closer to their homes, and they can access care easily.

Some of the beneficiaries included Alhaji Abdul-mukhtar, Olagbade Adedeji and Mrs. Ronke Akande expressed gratitude for the free healthcare enrollment, which they believe will improve their overall well-being.
