It was a situation of dream becoming reality at Eleyele, ibadan as three Dangote cement customers suddenly become a millionaire in a sales promo.
The Dangote spell and win promo which had Mr Shittu Ibitayo, Biliaminu Kehinde and Adekunle Adepegba as winners of one millionaire each is third in the Dangote promotional series in the year.
The winners who were earlier doubtful and anxious suddenly burst into joyful mood as they received one million naira alerts.
Aside the one millionaire won, two out of the three customer were also given freezer and a television set as gifts.
Addressing the participants, the Dangote National Sales Director, Mrs Funmi Sanni explained that the gesture was meant to appreciate their customer’s loyalty to Dongote cement products.
While explaining the procedures required for customers to emerge winner in the ongoing promo, Mrs Sanni said customers must produce seven scratch cards containg DANGOTE alphabets already inserted in each Dangote cement bags.
The cards according to her will be taken to Dangote designated redeem centre.
The Dangote national sales Director said Dangote group is out to produce five hundred Nigerians who will win one million naira each and one hundred people who will also win five million naira each through the spell and win process.
Mrs Sanni who said covid 19 had affected businesses in the country in 2019 noted that the promo was introduced in the same year to cushion the effect of the pandemic on their customers.
While encouraging the beneficiaries to introduce their friends to Dangote cements so as to benefit in other promos, the Dangote products marketing boss said 32.5 million naira units of gift items will be given out to customers in the ongoing promo.
Speaking in the same vein, the South west regional Sales manager of the company, Mr Tunde Mabogunje said Dangote cement product is second non adding that the program is designed to motivate and sustain customer loyalty.
Zonal Cordinator, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Mr Omotayo Fasuhanmi described Dangote group as one of the leading indigenous company in Nigeria.
Mr Fasuhanmi (mmdm) commended Dangote group for the gesture adding that the firm had shown accountability and transparency in the selection process of beneficiaries.
The winners, Mr Shittu Ibitayo, Biliaminu Kehinde and Adekunle Adepegba who were producers of building blocks described Dangote cement as one of the best products in the block manufacturing industry.
Among the cement products manufactured by Dangote group are: Block master 42.5R, 3X 42.5R, 3X 42.5N and Dangote Falcon.
The promo which commenced on 5th of July this year comes to an end on 31st of October, 2022.
