The ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration across the country have continue to witness unprecedented number of registrants.
In Oluyole local government of Oyo state, radio Nigeria Ibadan staff Reporter who visited INEC office Idi Ayunre, on Tuesday observed that potential registrants, some of whom arrived the venue as early as six o’clock in the morning, conducted themselves orderly.
According to him though INEC has enough staff to attend to the people, not all their computers and other facilities, were working which consequently slowed down the pace of work.
Some INEC officials who would not want to be quoted, wondered why people trooped to the venue with barely few days to deadline.

Those spoken to on queue, attributed their last minute rush to what they called Nigerian mentality.
The exercise, which started last year, was initially scheduled to end last month, but extended to the end of June this year to enable more eligible voters to participate
