The Lagos State High Court on Thursday sentenced A Yoruba Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha to sixteen years imprisonment.
The court sentenced baba Jesa to sixteen years jail over sexual assault on a 14-year-old minor.
In a judgement delivered by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo which lasted for over two hours, Baba Ijesha was convicted of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault and attempted sexual assault.
Justice Taiwo, however, discharged and acquitted him of count one and count six, which were: sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
