BOWA Media Chief Executive, Wale Bodija Congratulates New Oyo Commissioner, Akin Funmilayo

The publisher of bowamedia.com, Bodija Akinwale (Bowa) has hailed the executive governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde for deeming it fit to appoint Mr. Akin Funmilayo Williams as commissioner in the state.

Akinwale made this known on Thursday during a courtesy call to the office of the new commissioner.

Mr. Akin Funmilayo Williams who was appointed as Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development recently retired as Permanent Secretary at the State Local Government Service Commission.

Akinwale, in his words, expressed hope that Mr. Akin Funmilayo will deploy his varied skills to his assigned position.

He described Funmilayo as a seasoned administrator with a lot of experiences which he said would add value to the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.

“This unique assignment glaringly shows the confidence that Governor Seyi Makinde has in your ability and capacity to perform, as exemplified by your excellent performance during your time as a civil servant.

” I will like to say a big congratulations to you, Daddy, on your appointment as the honorable commissioner for Lands, Housing, and Urban Developments, governor Makinde got it right again.

It is my expectation and that of the residents of our dear state that you will deploy your varied skills garnered over the years while in service to compliment Governor Seyi Mankinde’s agendas.”

“I pray for God’s guidance and divine direction on this delicate state assignment. While I will also commend the state governor, Seyi Makinde for appointing the right people so far in his government, it is clear that Mr. Governor has started in the right direction”. Bodija stated.
