(Mrs) Ajayi Yemisi has distributed free notebooks to primary school pupils in some public schools in Osun State and Ede North local government as part of back to school activities aimed at easing the burden on parents and improving learning readiness.

“We believe that no child should be hindered from learning because they don’t have simple things like notebooks,” Ajayi said. “These notebooks are just one of the ways Gov. Adeleke’s administration is supporting families, especially in rural or disadvantaged communities, so that pupils begin the school year on an even footing.”

Reports say that parents at the event appreciated the initiative, noting that “With the price of everything rising, buying notebooks for all the children is a heavy load. This help comes at the right time.”
