The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadan Land, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa has described the death of Babasale Musulumi of Ibadan Land, Alhaji Chief Lateef Oyelade as a huge loss to the Muslim Community in Ibadan land and Oyo State in general.
According to reports, Alhaji Lateef Oyelade died on Friday morning.
Alhaji Oyelade, was a also traditional title holder in Ibadanland. He was the Ekefa Olubadan of Ibadan Land.
In his condolence message on Friday, Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadan, Arc Hassan Giwa, described late Alhaji (Chief) Lateef Oyelade as a very deep religious person and a philanthropist of a note.
Asiwaju expressed his condolences to his immediate family, Chief Imam of Ibadan Land and entire Iman-in-Council, the Muslim Community, Ibadan and Oyo State as a whole.
Giwa said, “I received the news of the death of Alhaji Chief Lateef Oyelade with shock. Alhaji was a deep religious person and a philanthropist of a note, who his contributions to the progress and development to the course of Islam in Ibadan and Oyo State can not be quickly forgotten.
“We have lost a worthy father in Islam in Ibadan. I condole with his immediate family, the Chief Imam of Ibadan Land and Council and the entire Muslim Community in Ibadan and Oyo State at large.
“I pray that almighty Allah will grant him eternal rest and give all of us the fortitude to bear the loss.” Asiwaju Adini, Arc Hassan Giwa said.
