Appeal Court Judgement, A Confirmation Of People’s Will – Providence Coalition Congratulates Sen. Alli.
A socio-political group in Oyo state, Providence Coalition has congratulated the senator representing Oyo South in the national assembly over his victory at the appeal Court on Saturday.
Joseph Tegbe of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and Gbogbolomo of NNPP had appealed the judgments of the tribunal which dismissed their separate petitions against Alli’s victory in the February 25 National Assembly election in Oyo South.
In a statement issued by the president of the coalition, Prince Niran Adeyoju, SDM, through the publicity secretary, Mr David Oluokun on behalf of leaders and members of the coalition said the appeal court Judgement was a confirmation of people’s will and mandate freely given to senator Sharafadeen Alli at the polls.
Prince Adeyoju said the verdict will no doubt put to rest distractions and allow senator Alli to fully concentrate more on his developmental programmes he had initiated for his constituency.
He described senator Alli, who is one of the leaders of the coalition as grassroots politician that understands his onions and capable of delivering dividend of democracy to the electorates.
