Apata Fire: Oyo South Senatorial Candidate, Kola-Daisi Commiserates With Victims, Offers Support

Oyo South Senatorial Candidate under the platform of Accord in Oyo state, Kola-Daisi has Commiserated with victims of the fire incident that broke out at Apata, Ibadan on Thursday evening.

The fire incident was a result of a break failure of a Fuel Laden Tanker that was approaching from NNPC, Apata.

Kolapo Kola-Daisi in a statement described the incident which led to multiple losses as a sad day in the Apata commununity.

He however hinted that he has commissioned a process that will guide his team in providing series of support to the victims in due course.

The statement reads in part:

“I commiserate deeply with traders, bike men and every other citizen who lost their wares and merchandise to this unfortunate incident.”

“I offer immense gratitude to all first responders, including men of the fire service, the Police and the Amotekun, who were on hand to manage the situation. I also appreciate my friends in the Apata Youth Organization, led by Mr. Laolu Oyeniran, whose on-the-spot efforts worked in tandem with the DG of the Kolapo Kola-Daisi campaign organization, Mr. Sunday Babalola and Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku, to call both fire and major radio stations for help”.
