Anxiety As Assailants Kill Woman, Injure Amotekun Personnel In Ibadan.

Tension is currently high among hundreds of residents of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, over the killing of a woman.
The woman was attacked and killed by assailants at Oderemi village in Ido Local Government Area.
She has been identified as Mrs. Misitura Akanke and was killed in a gruesome manner on Wednesday.
It was reported that the killing caused widespread panic among residents due to its shocking nature.
The incident reportedly occurred while the woman went to gather vegetables in a nearby bush.
Our correspondent learnt that an officer of the Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN), also known as Amotekun, who intervened in the matter, was injured.
The Public Relations Officer of the Oyo State Police Command, Olayinka Ayanlade, when contacted on Thursday, confirmed the incident.
In response to News Men’s enquiry, noted that an investigation has been launched.
He said, “Investigations have commenced.”
