The men’s Ministry, Assemblies of God Church Apata session have defeated their counterparts from Mokola three goals to one in a novelty football match to climax the year 2022.
The friendly football encounter, played at Bembo games Village, Apata Ibadan had as participants, Reverends,Pastors ,Deacons and other men from Assemblies of God Church.
Representatives from the Women ministry Apata session were also on ground to cheer the spouses to victory.
The host,Apata session secured a two- nil Victory in the first half and sealed the victory with a goal in the second half.
Succour however, came to Mokola as they beat the host goalkeeper with a nice consolation header, to end the game three -one in favour of Apata session.
Earlier, Men President, Apata Session,Mr.Akinwale had urged the young men who conceived the fun generating idea to fashion out a modality to make the event annual.
Other men also suggested that such event should be incorporated into Men week’s line of activities.
The event also created an atmosphere for the two sessions fine and wine as they were treated with sumptuous meals
