Oyo South APM Candidate, ‘Odidiomo’ Redeems N2m Pledge To Eruwa Muslim Community

Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide Odidiomo, has redeemed his 2 million naira pledge to the Eruwa Muslim Community (ERMUC), fulfilling a commitment he made during the community’s 3rd Ileya Get-Together lecture.

The gesture, according to the organizers, further demonstrates the lawmaker’s commitment to supporting community driven initiatives and maintaining strong relationships with religious and grassroots institutions.

The pledge was made ahead of the programme, which was held on saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Islamic Primary School, Sango, Eruwa, with the theme, “The Importance of Brotherhood in Islam.”

Odidiomo was unable to attend the gathering personally as he was in Saudi Arabia performing Umrah at the time. His absence, however, did not affect the commitment he had made to the muslim community, as the 2 million naira pledge has now been fulfilled.

The 3rd Ileya Get-Together lecture brought together muslim scholars, traditional rulers, political leaders, community stakeholders and members of the muslim community.

The redemption of the pledge has also provided an opportunity for supporters of the lawmaker to highlight what they describe as his “promise and fulfilment” approach to public service, arguing that the credibility of political representation is measured not only by promises made at public gatherings but by the extent to which such commitments are ultimately honoured.
