Impressive College of Health Science and Technology Receives Inspection, Verification Team From CHPRBN

The Impressive College of Health Science and Technology, Òkèhò, in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State, has successfully hosted officials of the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) for a Resources Inspection and Verification Exercise aimed at assessing the institution’s readiness for Community Health education and training.

The inspection and verification exercise, which took place from July 1 to July 4, 2026, involved a comprehensive assessment of the institution’s facilities, learning resources, infrastructure, and overall academic environment.

During the exercise, the CHPRBN team led by Dr. Brown Nengi conducted an extensive evaluation of the school’s available resources to determine its capacity to provide quality training for prospective Community Health practitioners. The exercise forms part of the Board’s regulatory responsibilities to ensure that institutions offering Community Health programmes meet the required standards for professional training and development.

Speaking at the conclusion of the exercise, members of the inspection team commended the management of Impressive College of Health Science and Technology for providing relevant facilities and resources necessary for effective teaching and learning. The team identified the availability of key educational and training resources as one of the institution’s major strengths.

The officials who also include Alhaja Mariam Imam(Secretary) and Dr. Silas Usen  expressed satisfaction with the school’s location and learning environment, describing it as conducive for academic activities and professional training. According to the team, the serene environment provides students with an atmosphere suitable for acquiring the knowledge and practical skills required in the healthcare sector.

The inspection further provided an opportunity for the institution to showcase its commitment to excellence in healthcare education and its determination to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Reacting to the successful exercise, the management of the institution expressed appreciation to the CHPRBN team for their professionalism, objective assessment, observations, and recommendations. The management noted that the exercise would contribute significantly to the institution’s continuous growth and development.
