Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Johnson Adenola has officially assumed duty at the State Command with a pledge to combat crime and enhance security across the state.
Speaking with journalists at the police headquarters, Eleyele Ibadan, CP Adenola acknowledged the rising menace of cultism and armed robbery, vowing to tackle these challenges head-on.

He emphasized the importance of community policing, intelligence gathering, and collaboration with stakeholders to achieve his eight points agenda

The agenda according to him include combating cultism and armed robbery, preventing professional misconduct among others.
The new commissioner who seized the opportunity to appreciate his predecessor, Ayodele Sonubi urged people of the state to see themselves as partners in curbing crime.
The event was attended by top police officers, journalists, and other stakeholders.
CP Adenola is the 47th head of the Nigeria police force, Oyo State command. He succeeded Ayodele Sonubi who retired from the force last month.
