The 8th day fidau of Chief Yinusa Aremu Arogundade, father of the executive chairman, Ibarapa East Local government, Hon. Kazeem Arogundade has been held at at Isale Elesin, Abiire area of Anko, Eruwa.
The programme which pulled a large crowd had in attendance Prince Bayo Olaniyan; Hon. Gbenga Obalowo; Mr John Ojelabi; former Commissioner Ojoawo; Evang. Dele Olaito; Chief Seun Peluola; Evang. Ayankunle; Hon Jacob Olakunle Olalowo; HLGA of Ibarapa East Local Government; Islamic scholars and among others.
Addressing the gathering, the Executive Chairman, Ibarapa East Local Government, Hon.Kazeem Arogundade who is a son to the deceased described his late father as a trustworthy and devote Muslim.
Hon. Arogundade noted that death is a price everybody would pay no matter the status, wealth or fame.
Hon. Arogundade, however used the opportunity to encourage all and sundry to be upright and remain faithful in their religion belief.
Chief Yinusa Aremu Arogundade, the Otun Anko of Anko land, died on Tuesday 4 June, 2024 during a protracted illness at the age of 93 years.
