Usman Baba Alkali, the Inspector General of Police, and other senior police bosses have on Monday launched a three-day workshop series on election security management in Ibadan, Oyo State.
This is a part of the Force’s efforts to make sure the general elections in 2023 go off without hitch.
The workshop, titled “The 2023 General Election: Enhancing National Security Capacity for a secure and Credible Electoral Process in Nigeria,” will take place at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort in Oloyo village, Ona-Ara local government area, Oyo State, from Monday, August 29, to Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
Relevant participants in the process will attend the workshop, which is intended to increase the level of sensitization and security awareness.
