The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has paid a condolence visit to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on Wednesday.
The visit was as a result of the death of Chief Sunday Makinde, the elder brother to governor Seyi Makinde.
Sunday Makinde died on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 65.
Wike arrived at Makinde’s residence in the Ikolaba Government Reservation Area of Ibadan, in the afternoon, in company of former Governors Okezie Ikpeazu and Samuel Ortom.
Others on the entourage of the FCT minister were Senators Sandy Onor, Philip Aduda, Olaka Nwogu and Mao Ohuabunwa, Rt. Hon. Chibudom Nwuche among other dignitaries.
