Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan, the leader of the New Nigerian People’s Party in the Southwest, has reaffirmed his relationship with Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo state.
On Thursday, Olopoeyan revealed this during a chat with renowned political broadcaster Isaac Brown on Fresh FM in Ibadan.
While verifying multiple images of himself and governor Makinde that have been circulating online since Wednesday, the former Oyo state PDP leader claimed that although they had reconciled before the election, they only announced it to the public during their meeting yesterday in Ibadan.
” We have reconciled, we will be doing things together henceforth.
“Indeed, some people are not happy about the move but that is left to them, we reconciled, and there’s nothing they can do about it.
Olopoeyan maintained that his robust relationship with Makinde has started again and that he is still a member and leader of NNPP in Oyo state and Southwest Nigeria.
