(VIDEO) Oyo Govt. Announces Date To Close Alaafin Avenue, Oluyole Road • Provides Alternative Routes For Motorists

The Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project, IUFMP, through the Oyo state government has announced that it will close down the Alaafin Avenue, Oluyole Estate, Ibadan from midnight on Saturday, 25th May, 2024.

In a video shared on “X” handle of the Oyo state government @oyostategovt, the shutting down of the road, close to Rhema Chapel was to construct a support bridge in the area.

“The construction of a support bridge along Alaafin Avenue, Oluyole Estate, close to Rhema Chapel will commence soon. Consequently, the road will be closed from midnight on Saturday 25 May 2024.

“Commuters are advised to use the newly constructed Zartech-7Up Bridge and other alternative routes in and out of Oluyole Extension.

“We apologise for the temporary inconvenience.
