Vice President Kashim Shettima Arrives Ekiti

The Vice president, senator Kashim Shettima has arrived Ekiti state capital for the inauguration of the third Expanded National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Clinics as well as infrastructural projects in the state.

The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, represented by his Deputy, Chief Monisade Afuye and Ondo State Governor, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa earlier received the Vice President at the Airport in Akure.

The number two citizen who landed in a chopper at the top hill, “Oke Ayaba” Government House exactly 11:57 a.m, was received by governor Biodun Oyebanji, his wife and other top government officials amid performance by the state cultural troupe.

Senator Shettima was accompanied by the Senate leader Senator Opeyemi Bamidele Minister of Solid Minerals, Dele Alake other many other political office Holders at the national level

Before his arrival the major markets in the city of Ado Ekiti were closed to ensure free flow of vehicular movement Ado metropolis.

As at the time of this report, the Vice President accompanied by the Ekiti State, Governor Mr Biodun Oyebanji, Deputy Governor Chief Monisade Afuye and other state Execos are being received at the Ewi’s palace, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe.

Some of the Traditional Rulers on ground are the Chairman, Council of Obas in Ekiti and Olojudo of Ido Ekiti, Oba Ilori Faboro, Onigede of Igede Ekiti, Oba Aladesuru, and many traditional Chiefs in Ekiti.
