All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Dr Olusola Ayandele, and hundreds of his supporters have renewed their allegiance to President Bola Tinubu, Senator Sharafadeen Alli and other candidates of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Ibarapa-born business mogul and philanthropist, on Tuesday in Ibadan, led hundreds of supporters to the APC campaign office, declaring their readiness to deliver massive votes for the APC in the zone.

Ayandele assured the party leadership that Ibarapa would deliver its “bulk votes” to the APC, stressing that the zone would have no room for opposition parties during the 2027 elections.

“As a committed member of the party at the grassroots, with the support of my teeming followers, I declare that there is no room for other political parties in Ibarapa.
“Our bulk votes from the zone will go to the APC in Ibarapa. We are also ready to provide financial support for the candidates and the campaign secretariat of the party,” he said.
In a symbolic gesture, the state Chairman of the party, Dr Moses Adeyemo, presented brooms to Ayandele and his supporters, describing their return as a significant boost to the party’s mobilisation efforts.
Adeyemo urged party members to remain focused and united, saying victory in the 2027 elections should be a collective responsibility of all APC members across the state.
Also speaking, the APC governorship candidate in the state, Senator Alli, assured party members that his administration would operate an inclusive government and ensure fairness to members irrespective of their senatorial districts or political zones.
Alli dismissed reports that party positions had already been shared among certain individuals, describing such claims as baseless and aimed at creating disunity within the party.
“There is no iota of truth in the rumour that we have shared all the positions in the party. I am telling you that nothing of such happened. As a political party, we operate an open-door policy.
“We will treat all members equally, irrespective of their zones. All members must work for the success of the party in their respective units.
“In 2027, it is going to be ‘Operation Win Your Polling Unit. That is the only way to wrest power from the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in the state,” Alli said.
The governorship candidate urged party members to intensify grassroots mobilisation, insisting that victory could only be secured through coordinated efforts at the polling-unit level.
He commended Ayandele and his supporters for their renewed commitment, saying the development demonstrated the growing strength of the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
Alli expressed confidence that the party would consolidate its support base across Oyo State and defeat the ruling party through effective grassroots mobilisation and unity.
