S’West Stakeholders’ Summit: Providence Coalition Aligns With Summit’s Vision, Agenda

Providence Coalition, a Socio-Political and Cultural group based in Oyo State has expressed hope that the fallout from the just concluded South west Stakeholders’ Summit held in Akure, Ondo state will continue to evolve enduring and time- tested policies.
President of the coalition, Prince Niran Adeyoju( SDM) who spoke on behalf of the coalition during a goodwill message at the summit on Wednesday said practicable and sustainable economic pathways capable of proffering appropriate solutions to the lingering multi-faceted socio- economic challenges facing people at the region is expected to evolve from the summit.


He expressed the coalition’s alignment with the aspirations and vision of Afenifere and the DAWN Commission on the occasion of the historic Summit being put in place to further deliberate on the Development Agenda of the South- West geo- political zone of Nigeria.

He said “On behalf of the President and the Distinguished members of the Providence Coalition, a Socio- Political and Cultural Organization based in Oyo State, we wish to express our alignment with the aspirations and vision of the duo of Afenifere and the DAWN Commission on the occasion of this historic Summit being put in place to further deliberate on the Development Agenda of the South- West geo- political zone of Nigeria.

”We also wish to place on record our gratitude for the privilege of our inclusion in a body that prioritizes the well- being of the people of Yorubaland.
“While acknowledging and appreciating the founding fathers of this lofty initiative, we also hope and pray that the Summit shall continue to evolve enduring and time- tested policies, practicable and sustainable economic pathways capable of proffering appropriate solutions to the lingering multi-faceted socio- economic challenges that our people have been confronted with over time.
“On our part as Providence Coalition, we are prepared to continue to provide meaningful input into creating a knowledge- driven economy that will complement and support your efforts at emancipating our people from the shackles of endless poverty.
“We congratulate the organizers of this great Summit for a successful hosting as we still look forward for more until our drives toward a self- reliant economy for the people of South-West Nigeria is attained.
