Student Loan: Fed. Poly Ayede Workers Attend NELFUND’s Workshop On Automation Of Application Processes

In a concerted effort to enhance access to higher education financing and improve institutional processes, the Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State, took a significant step forward as two of its key officers, Mr. Pious Adepoju, the Director of ICT, and Alhaji Idris Ismail, Desk Officer for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), actively participated in a technical workshop held on May 6, 2025, at Chida International Hotel, Abuja.

The workshop, hosted by NELFUND, focused on the automation of student loan application processes and aimed to build capacity among various stakeholders, including rectors, ICT directors, and desk officers from tertiary institutions across Nigeria. A vital part of this initiative was the discussion surrounding the seamless collaboration between NELFUND and educational institutions to simplify access to student loans, thereby promoting educational opportunities nationwide.

Mr. Adepoju and Alhaji Ismail expressed deep gratitude to the Nigerian government for implementing such impactful initiatives, noting that these efforts significantly reduce barriers for students seeking higher education. They also extended their appreciation to the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Engr. Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed (FNSE), and the entire management team for the invaluable opportunity to further their knowledge and skills in this vital area.

In a statement reflecting on the importance of the event, Engr.
