Accreditation and voting have commenced in most of the polling units visited in Oke Ogun Area of Oyo state.
Our correspondent who monitored the situation reports that the electorate came out enmass and conducted themselves in a peaceful manner.
During visit to ward 6 unit 5, Kishi, the voting process was well coordinated and peaceful.
The situation was not different at Alafiatayo ward 6unit 4 where the deputy governor in Oyo state, Chief Bayo Lawal is being expected to also perform his civic duty.
It was observed that security officers were on ground to ensure law and order.
It was also gathered that road blocks were mounted by men of the Nigeria army, the police, immigrations and custom along Iseyin, saki igboho and Kisi road.
At Ogbomoso, Voting commenced in some polling units across Ogbomosho as early as 9 ‘O’ clock in the morning.
At ward 10, Unit 9, Sabotaara, a few people were seen on queue to cast their votes.
At unit 5, a federal lawmaker elect, Honourable Olamijuwon Alao- Akala who complained about the low turn out assured the residents that the election would be violent -free.
At Ido/Ibapara accreditation and voting have commenced at some polling units.
At Units 10, 11,12 and 13 ,Ward 6, under Ibarapa East lgt, Our team of correspondents deployed to Ido /Ibarapa reports that INEC officials were sighted at their various units attending to queue of voters performing their civic duty.
Same situation at Alako Open space ,Unit 4,Ward1, Ido LGA
and Ward 1, Unit 1,Ilaju Open space, under the watch of security personnel.
There was massive turnout of voters at Ward 2, Units 1-4, Ibarapa East who were also casting their votes
