Shina Peller Mourns JFO, Says “We’ve Lost A Key Player In The Struggle For Oke Ogun liberation”

A federal lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, Honourable Shina Peller, has described the death of the Accord party candidate for Atisbo/Saki East/Saki West federal constituency in the 2023 elections, Honourable Jacob Funmi Ogunmola (JFO), as very disheartening.

Honourable Peller stated this via his social media platforms, where he described the late philanthropist as one of the key players in the struggle for the liberation of Oke Ogun region.

The statement read:

“My heart grieves as we lost our dear brother and one of the key players in the struggle for the liberation of Oke Ogun region, Honourable Jacob Funmi Ogunmola (JFO), who until his sudden death, was our Accord party candidate for Atisbo, Saki East, Saki West federal constituency in the 2023 House of Representatives election.

“JFO was so loved by the masses due to his philanthropic, humanitarian and good leadership traits; he was actually the candidate to beat in the forthcoming election in the federal constituency.

“I pray that God consoles and guards his family, loved ones and all of us that he has left behind in this liberation mission struggle. May JFO’s soul find peace with God. Amen.”

Honourable Peller stressed that the late JFO was a leading House of Representatives candidate in the constituency, adding that he was a candidate to beat.

The late Honourable Ogunmola, illustrious son of Oke-Ogun, who was the chairman of ATISBO local government, reportedly died few hours after attending a function in Saki, Oke Ogun region of the state

A source said that the late politician had just finished a programme in Saki when he complained he was not well. According to the source, he was on his way to his base in Lagos with his team when he breathed his last.
