The Adeseun Ogundoyin, Polytechnic Eruwa’s Governing Council has been officially established by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
The Executive Chambers of the Governor’s Office, State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, hosted the inauguration of the 10-member Council.
The newly elected Governing Council of the Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic Eruwa was inaugurated by the Deputy Governor of the state, Chief Bayo Lawal, on behalf of Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde.
According to Governor Makinde, the council’s main duties include running the institution’s operations and advancing its other goals.
The state’s commissioner for education, science, and technology, Mr. Abdul-Rahaman Abdul-Raheem, stated that despite the state’s limited resources, the current administration is totally committed to providing high-quality education.
In his acceptance speech, the Chairman of the newly Inaugurated Council, Prof. Ojo Adebowale, commended the education policy of Seyi Makinde led administration with a promise to discharge statutory duties accordingly.
The Rector of the Institution, Dr Gbade Akinteye also commended Governor Makinde for Constituting the Governing council of the institution noting that the running of higher institutions is incomplete without the support of governing councils.
