Saratu Aduke Leads Oyo Market Leaders To Oba Olaoye Coronation, Congratulates New Soun
The Oyo state Iyaloja General, designate, Alhaja Saratu Konibaje on Tuesday morning led market leaders to grace the coronation ceremony of Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye as the 21st Soun of Ogbomoso.
Konibaje was greeted to a rousy welcome with trump and beat at the Soun Ogunmola Tounship Stadium , Ogbomoso as she led market women to the well decorated VIP arena.
In her congratulatory message Alhaja Konibaje hailed the emergence of Oba Olaoye, expressing great belief that the ancient town of Ogbomoso would witness rapid development in his reign.
Konibaje charged the monarch to ensure unity of all and sundry, noting that he’s now the father of all.
“I have known him for long, his emergence excited because he knows his onions and he’s an achiever of no mean repute.”
“I want him to unite everyone in Ogbomoso land including those in the diaspora. There’s strength in unity, his reign would witness great landmark achievements.”
