Residents of Sagbe, Eyin- Oke, along Oyo-Ibadan expressway, Moniya in Akinyele Local Government, Ibadan have appealed to the concerned authority to evacuate the decomposed body of a destitute in the area to prevent outbreak of epidemics.
The residents made the appeal in a chat with Radio Nigeria.
One of them, Mr. Akorede Ibrahim explained that the influx of destitutes in the area is alarming and called on Oyo State government to take stringent measure to address it.
Mr. Ibrahim said it is likely that a certain destitute that always loitering in the area was hit by hit and run vehicle overnight.
Another resident, Mrs Fausat Alabi called on security agents to ensure constant patrol on major highways to reduce crime rate .
Mrs Alabi however urged government to provide solar street lights on the roads to ensure security of lives and property.
