Remains Of Ex-Akinyele Council Chairman, Adedigba Laid To Rest As Political Associates, Others Bid Farewell

The remains of the Former Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Mr Toreed Adedigbe Jimoh who died on Thursday at the age of 44 years has been laid to rest in his Moniya residence

Newsarena.ng reports that the former council chairman was buried between the hours of 2.35pm and 3.15pm according to Islamic rites

Conducting the burial rites, the Chief Imam, Akinyele local government, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Abdulkareem emphasized the transient nature of life and the importance of making a meaningful impact while on earth, stressing that every soul will test death one day

Alhaji Abdulkareem emphasised that the world is a stage where God gives each of us the platform to do our best and then leave the stage.

He however pray for the repose of the departed soul and urged everyone to serve their generation according to the will of God before they are called home.

He recounted the efforts made by the deceased to foster peaceful coexistence in Akinyele Local government during his tenure as Executive chairman of Akinyele, saying he will be greatly missed for his contribution

Some attendees in a chat with newsmen said the deceased will be greatly missed and described him as a warrior whose legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him, extending beyond his immediate family to touch the lives of countless others

His burial was attended by his Political Associates, Chairman Akinyele local Government, Mr Wole Akinleye, prominent Islamic clerics, PDP family, friends, families and well wishers

He survived by two wives, Mrs Ajara and Mrs Taofikat, children and siblings
