Politics is about numbers, and numbers are built on unity. The ongoing reconciliation process embarked upon by the *Oyo State APC leadership is not a sign of weakness. It is a deliberate, strategic move to restore strength, cohesion, and direction to the party ahead of 2027.
For too long, internal divisions and personal grievances have kept our great party from speaking with one voice in Oyo State. A house divided cannot stand, and it certainly cannot win elections.
Why this reconciliation matters:
1. Unity is Strength: APC’s greatest asset is our members. Reconciliation brings back aggrieved members, mends broken bridges, and aligns all tendencies under one umbrella. A united APC is an APC that can mobilize, win, and govern effectively.
2. Cohesion for 2027: The 2027 elections will not be won by factions. It will be won by a party that is organized from the ward to the state level. This reconciliation is about building one structure, one message, and one goal: returning APC to power in Agodi.
3. Maturity in Leadership : True leadership is not about holding grudges. It is about putting the interest of the party and the people above personal ego. By initiating dialogue, the Oyo APC leadership is demonstrating political maturity and a commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
